Arda Turan has had his loan spell with Istanbul Basaksehir cancelled in January and he is now back with Barcelona.
The Turkish attacking midfielder was a sort of a predecessor for Antoine Griezmann, having arrived to Camp Nou as a big star from Atletico Madrid back in 2015. However, the impact he made at the Blaugrana can only be described as insignificant, other than in terms of Barcelona doing what it took to weaken a rival which had won the La Liga title and reached the Champions League final a year before.
Now back at Barcelona, the 33-year-old is aware that he ll be leaving again when his contract expires, and as quoted by , he has named Galatasaray as the only club he would join without thinking at all, without setting any conditions whatsoever.
Very often when interviewing a player that has played for Barcelona in the last decade, Catalan media outlets ask the question of the best that player has ever played with, expecting to hear the name of Lionel Messi. Turan told them what they wanted to hear and also named Andres Iniesta as someone who he admired a lot for his skills on the pitch.
